New 401(k) plans: Arizona

401(k) plans whose sponsor is in Arizona that filed a Form 5500 or 5500-SF for plan year 2025, from the U.S. Department of Labor's public datasets (files dated 2026-09-25, filings received up to 2026-09-24). A plan counts as new when its filing is marked as the plan's first return. Most 2025 returns are due by July 31, 2026 or, with an extension, October 15, 2026, so the year's counts are still growing.

401(k) plans file their first Form 5500 after their first plan year ends, so most plans counted here started in 2025. Of the 1,328 new plans, 1,294 (97%) have a plan effective date in 2025, 12 in 2024 and 22 before 2024.

New 401(k) plans: counts only

1,328 new 401(k) plans filed a first Form 5500 or 5500-SF here. 210 of these new plans have a sponsor name that may be a person's name.

We show counts only and don't list individual plans on this site. Listing some plans would let anyone work out the rest from DOL's public files, including plans whose sponsor name may be a person's name. Individual filings can be looked up on DOL's EFAST2 search.
